Regents Chemistry Test Prep

Service Description

This course will provide a thorough overview of the principles students will learned in Chemistry to help them solidify the necessary content knowledge for the exam. Additionally, we will discuss test taking strategy and the structure of the Regents-Chemistry exam in particular. We'll take our time exploring each unit student's studied to clear up any confusion they may experience and draw connections between the various units they'll study to help students grasp the "big picture" elements they'll encounter on the test. At the conclusion of each session, students will be encourage to complete optional homework which includes questions from previous regents exams which will provide additional practice in the areas covered. The units of study will include: Atomic Structure, The Periodic Table, Element Classification, Bonds, Chemical Naming, Moles and Stoichiometry, States of Matter, Kinetics, Acids and Bases, Redox Reactions, Organic Chemistry, and Nuclear Chemistry. We cap all of our courses at six students, so this class will offer more opportunity for individual attention. Minimum of four students is required to confirm the class. We also offer the option to record sessions so students can reference reviews later while studying independently.
